Since establishing in 2010, the Amsterdam rock band Bounds Of Modesty has had a single focus: write brutally honest songs to be a shoulder to anyone going through similar hardships – from losing friends to finding family and fighting losing battles with love.

 

The boys from Bounds Of Modesty have some favorite memories:

 

– Winning the 3FM Elevator Pitch and playing live sessions

– Selling out their headlining show at Melkweg Amsterdam

– Writing and recording a full-length album in Antwerp

– Touring internationally and sleeping on hardwood floors

– Writing movie scores, sequel songs and game soundtracks

 

With an unmistakably international sound that harkens back to the heyday of bands like Panic! At The Disco and Thirty Seconds To Mars, the well-traveled young men have shared their dream from studio to stage – recording the soundtrack to the feature film ‘Dreamers’ and producing an emotional full-length album complete with 14 music videos with 2019’s ‘The Family We Choose’. In 2021 the band united for ‘Concrete Pt. II’, a sequel to their first single that packs all of Bounds Of Modesty’s tropes and vices in one track.
